A lot of why I’m feeling it so intensely today is that I was supposed to be in Vegas this weekend with a big bunch of unschooling moms and we were going to wear glitter and drink and dance and be completely loony tunes together. Well, they still are. I had to bow out due to time, travel anxiety, and finances… and they’re all just now getting down there and checking into the event...

I get fucking lonely sometimes. I’m a bit of a homebody and tend to only go out and about one or two weekdays each week, but on the weekends, when Silas is at his dad’s, I like to be social. I like going out for drinks or having people over or going out for the occasional meal with friends. The problem is, no matter how hard I try, I don’t seem to have many friends.
